Employee engagement is a popular topic these days, but truthfully, what does it mean? How do you achieve it? And how do you measure its bottomline impact? PHRPS’ March program is your opportunity to learn from not one, but three experts in the field.
Rotate through three roundtable discussions for an exchange of theory and practice with your peers and:
David Morris oversees the majority of CLC Solutions engagements, ensuring high levels of service and leveraging key insights across engagements. Prior to joining the CLC, David held a number of roles at Sprint Corporation, starting by running a call center and ending his tenure as Director of Strategy and Planning for the $11B Consumer Division. He also spent several years as an investment banker, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. David holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in English Literature from Grinnell College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ted Marusarz heads Global Knowledge Management and Operations in Hewitt’s Employee Listening & Communication practice. He has developed enhancements to Hewitt's employee engagement model. Ted has 20 years of experience in consulting, research and product development. His current and recent clients include FedEx Ground, Sony, Cargill, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Starbucks International, SAP, National Bank of Australia, Wal-Mart, and Marriott. Ted earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Psychology, Research Methods and Design from DePaul University.
Robert Lockwood is a partner with The Gallup Organization and will be co-presenting with Christi Field from Campbell’s Soup, with whom he has worked extensively. Robert specializes in the areas of customer and employee engagement, talent-based selection, and leadership development. In his current role as partner, Lockwood consults on all aspects of The Gallup Path, a proprietary model that describes the linkages between an employee’s contribution and the organization’s ultimate financial goal—an increase in its overall value.
Christi Field has worked for the Campbell Soup Company as the Sr. Human Resources Manager, supporting various functions in the Global Supply Chain and most recently working with the Away From Home – Foodservice division. Christi joined Campbell’s at the inception of The Company’s partnership with The Gallup Organization to measure employee engagement. She has been actively involved with the continued commitment to provide insight and awareness on the correlation between engaged employees and improved business results. Christi is going to talk about her experience using Gallup and the Q12 at Campbell.
